CGT is a civil society coalition which work in the area of transparency and social accountability. It was established since more than a decade ago to monitor public policy in Timor-Leste from revenue side to expenditure process in state budget to make sure they follow all the mechanisms that are existed.

Currently, Timor-Leste become a compliance country of EITI. CGT value the country effort and continue struggle for the transparency issue. CGT has involved on EITI Multi Stakeholder Group, and since 2018, CGT officially be a full member of the Publish What You Pay (PWYP) a civil society coalition which struggle to ensuring accountability of oil companies.

 

In addition, CGTI will be bridge among community and strengthening the communities through the capacity building so the community will directly participate in the development process to continue promote  transparency, accountability and good governance in Timor-Leste.
